Dr. Lanetta Bronte had the opportunity to provide a State of Sickle Cell Disease update to Bishop Curry on 4/11/2016 during an on-air interview.

Bishop Curry reflected on a childhood friend with Sickle Cell Anemia who had frequent visits to the hospital, played with all of the children as if he had no illness but would then disappear because he became ill.  He would return to play as normal as ever.  Bishop Curry's childhood friend is still alive today!

Bishop Curry would like to hear more about the State of Sickle Cell Disease from patients and medical professionals. Bishop Curry will be on location to talk with you.

Bishop Curry's radio station reaches 1.5 million homes in the South Florida and Caribbean Islands through live streaming.

The Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research is honored to have this partnership with Gospel WMBM, AM 1490. Get the App on itunes or Android.  WMBM
